Overview
The X9420 is a single, digitally controlled potentiometer (XDCP) integrated circuit that provides a solid-state potentiometer solution with a SPI serial interface.
Key Features
The device features a 64-tap resistor array, nonvolatile memory for storing up to four wiper positions, and a volatile Wiper Counter Register (WCR) for controlling the wiper position.
The X9420 operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V power supply, has a low standby current of <1μA, and is available in 14-lead TSSOP and 16-lead SOIC packages.
Applications
The X9420 can be used in a wide range of applications, including control, parameter adjustments, and signal processing, and can be configured as a three-terminal potentiometer or a two-terminal variable resistor.
