Overview
The X4003 and X4005 are CPU supervisors that combine power-on reset control, watchdog timer, and supply voltage supervision. These devices reduce system cost, board space requirements, and increase reliability.
Key Features
Selectable watchdog timer with three preset values (200ms, 600ms, 1.4s) and an option to disable it. Low Vcc detection and reset assertion with five standard reset threshold voltages (4.62V, 4.38V, 2.92V, 2.68V, 1.75V) and the ability to adjust the threshold voltage using a special programming sequence.
Low power CMOS with 12μA typical standby current (watchdog on), 80nA typical standby current (watchdog off), and 3mA active current. 40kHz I2C interface and 1.8V to 5.5V power supply operation.
Available in 8-lead SOIC and MSOP packages, with Pb-free options.
