Overview
KEMET’s XZR dielectric features a 125°C maximum operating temperature and is considered “temperature stable”. It is characterized by the Electronics Components, Assemblies & Materials Association (EIA) as a Class II material, suitable for bypass and decoupling applications or frequency discriminating circuits where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are not critical.
Benefits
Typical applications include decoupling, bypass, filtering, and transient voltage suppression. The XZR dielectric exhibits a predictable change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage, with a minimal change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±15% from -55°C to +125°C.
The capacitors are AEC-Q200 automotive qualified, Pb-Free and RoHS compliant, and offer a range of case sizes, DC voltage ratings, and capacitance offerings.
