Operating Conditions

Performance
The leakage current is defined by the expression I=0.01CV or 3uA, whichever is greater after a duration of two minutes, where I stands for leakage current, C for capacitance in pF, and V for rated voltage in Vdc. Dissipation factors range depending on the voltage rating and increase with higher capacitances. Upon endurance testing at 105°C with rated voltage and ripple current, the change in capacitance should remain within ±20% of the initial value, while the dissipation factor should not exceed 200% of the specified value for case size #D=6.3, and should not be more than the specified value for #D above 6.3. The leakage current is restricted as per defined maximum values depending on the case size.
Lifetime and Endurance
Life expectancy varies from 3000 to 6000 hours at the upper limit of the operating temperature range based on the rated voltage. The impedance ratio over low temperatures, represented by varying Impedance Ratio (MAX), also fluctuates according to rated voltage and frequency, ensuring stability under low temperature conditions.
