General Description
The FC1553 6 & 7 series are dual-channel transceivers that conform to MIL-STD-1553B and are screened to MIL-STD-883 and BS94S0 (CECC 63000) requirements.
Key Features
These transceivers do not require +ISV or +12V supply (issue ‘1 onwards), have low power dissipation, and feature receiver output logic options for encoder/decoder compatibility.
They also have third-order balanced receiver input filtering, enhanced input logic tracking and fault protection, short circuit protection of transmitter outputs, and a programmable transmitter thermal shutdown option.
Transmitter and Receiver Details
The transmitter accepts Biphase Manchester encoded signals and produces a nominal 7.5V bipolar Manchester II signal on the bus.
The receiver has a balanced third-order low-pass filter to reduce line reflections and improve the signal-to-noise ratio, and features common-mode performance enhancement through fully balanced processing.
