The MC2045-2Y is a high-gain limiting amplifier designed for fibre optic communication applications up to 200 Mbps. It provides PECL-compatible logic outputs and features a programmable signal-level detector with 2 dB (optical) of hysteresis to prevent chatter at low input levels.

Key Features:

Operates with 3.3 V or 5 V supply
Fast Ethernet receivers with 1.6 mV typical input sensitivity
Output disable function (JAM) when no input signal detected
Available in various packages, including TSSOP20, SOIC16, QSOP16, and BCC++16L

SDH/SONET 155 Mbps transceivers
FDDI 125 Mbps receivers
