The L293D and L293DD are monolithic integrated high voltage, high current four channel drivers designed to accept standard DTL or TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads.
Each channel has a 600mA output current capability and 1.2A peak output current (non-repetitive). The devices feature an enable facility, overtemperature protection, and logical “0” input voltage up to 1.5V (high noise immunity).
Key Features:
Internal clamp diodes, separate supply input for logic, and operation at frequencies up to 5kHz.
Package Options:
The L293D is available in a 16-lead plastic package, while the L293DD is available in a 20-lead surface mount package. Both packages have center pins connected together for heatsinking.
