Introduction
This technical bulletin provides guidelines for diagnosing and servicing braking system noise issues in Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli models.
Procedure
The procedure includes five sections:
Section 1: Checking Discs and Pads for Wear
Check disc and pad thickness to determine if wear is causing the noise issue.
Section 2: Checking for Foreign Bodies
Inspect for foreign bodies between the brake disc and pad that may be causing noise and abnormal wear.
Section 3: Checking for Intensive Use of the Braking System
Visually inspect components to determine if the user has made intensive use of the braking system.
