Introduction
This service bulletin addresses HVAC servo motor malfunctions in certain 2013-2017 Lexus models, including GS F, GSZOOT, ISZOOT, RCZOOT, GS350, IS250, IS300, RC3OO, IS350, RC F, RC350, and GS45OH.
The malfunctions may cause uneven temperature or air flow between vents, little or no air flow from vents, or improper MODE control function.
The bulletin provides procedures to diagnose and repair the issue, including reprogramming the air conditioner amplifier assembly, cleaning and replacing servos, and replacing damper servo sub-assemblies.
Affected Models and Production Change Information
The bulletin applies to vehicles produced before specific Production Change Effective VINs, which are listed in the bulletin.
