Introduction
Maserati has unveiled its eighth Spyder, combining cutting-edge engineering with sumptuous onboard comfort.
Technical Specifications
The Spyder features an eight-cylinder engine with a maximum power delivery of 390 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 451 Nm at 4,500 rpm.
The car has a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) and can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.0 seconds.
The Spyder also features a six-speed manual transmission with a lever control and a self-locking differential.
Chassis and Suspension
The car has a stress-bearing steel monocoque construction with an integrated tubular structure section.
The front suspension features double wishbones with forged aluminum carriers and struts, while the rear suspension features double wishbones with forged hub carriers and a supplementary strut for control.
Brakes and Wheels
The Spyder is equipped with Brembo brakes with cross-drilled discs and six-piston alloy callipers.
The car features 18-inch wheels with 265/35 tires at the front and 235/40 tires at the rear.
