Roadside Assistance
This manual provides tips and procedures for dealing with common roadside issues with the McLaren 650S, including flat batteries and failed key fobs.
Opening the Vehicle
In the event of a flat battery, the vehicle will take measures to ensure ease of entry and safety. The driver’s side window will “short drop” to facilitate opening the door.
To manually open the door, the mechanical key can be retrieved from the fob and used to unlock the driver’s side door.
Troubleshooting Key Fob and Battery Replacement
If the key fob battery is flat, the vehicle may not acknowledge the fob, making it appear as if the start battery is flat.
Follow the procedures outlined in the manual to troubleshoot and replace the key fob battery.
