Overview
The Massey Ferguson 613 Pull-Type Windrower is a centre delivery windrower with a draper platform, suitable for windrowing cereal grain and oilseed crops. It is powered by a tractor’s power take-off and has a 30 ft (9.1 m) draper header.
Performance
The windrower had an average speed of 5 to 6 mph (8 to 10 km/h) and a maximum speed of about 11 km/h (6.8 mph). The quality of work was very good, with uniform windrows formed in most crops. The divider performance was very good, and the reel and cutterbar performed well in most conditions.
Operation and Adjustment
The windrower was easy to operate, with well-located controls and a good lighting system. Adjustments were easily made, and the operator’s manual provided useful information on operation and adjustment.
Maintenance and Safety
Daily lubrication took about 3 minutes, and routine maintenance was easily performed. Safety was very good, with no safety hazards apparent on the MF 613.
