Introduction
This workshop manual provides technical and operating information for authorized Kohler after-sales service centers to perform assembly, disassembly, overhauling, replacement, and tuning operations on the KD 625/2 engine.
Important Notes
The manual assumes the person performing service work is properly trained and equipped, and has read the pertinent information regarding the subject service operations.
The engine has been built to the machine manufacturer’s specifications, and it is the manufacturer’s responsibility to adopt all necessary measures to meet essential health and safety requirements.
Warranty Information
The California Air Resources Board and Kohler Co. provide a warranty on the emission control system for a period of five (5) years or 3,000 hours, whichever occurs first, for engines with maximum power 19 kW or greater.
The owner is responsible for performing required maintenance and initiating the warranty process.
