Introduction

These installation instructions are intended for use by qualified installers and provide guidance for the installation of BOSCH dishwashers in the United States and Canada.

Important Notes

Before beginning the installation, it is essential to read these instructions completely and carefully. The dishwasher must be installed in accordance with the National Electric Code/State and Municipal codes and/or local codes in the United States, and the Canadian Electric Code C22.1 – latest edition/Provincial and Municipal codes and/or local codes in Canada.

New installations require most of the work to be done before the dishwasher is moved into place, while replacements require checking the connections for compatibility with the new dishwasher and replacing them as necessary.

It is crucial to inspect the dishwasher for possible freight or cosmetic damage after unpacking and prior to installation, and to report any damage immediately.

Tools and Materials Needed

A list of tools and materials is provided, including a hammer, hole saw, pipe wrench, tape measure, and electric drill, as well as materials such as an electric connection cable, hot water supply line, and shut-off valve and fittings.
