The Bosch Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Tool is used to retrieve EDR data from one or more ECUs in a vehicle. It supports many vehicles in various regions of the world.

Key Features

The CDR Tool consists of a PC/laptop application software program and hardware components, including a Vehicle Interface Module, USB to RS232 Serial Cable, and other accessories.

Warning notices are provided to warn of dangers to the user or people in the vicinity. The user must consult the vehicle’s service manual for safety precautions and procedures when working with high voltage vehicle systems and/or passive restraint devices.

Technical Requirements

The CDR software runs on a PC/laptop with minimum system requirements, including Windows XP/Vista/7/8, 100 MB available hard disk space, 256 MB RAM, 1 GHz CPU, and 1024 x 768 video resolution.
