Philips commissioned a global sleep survey to raise awareness about sleep challenges worldwide.

The survey was conducted online among 13,004 adults in 13 countries from November 12 to December 5, 2019.

Key Findings

Most adults recognize the importance of sleep for their overall health, but only half are satisfied with their sleep.

The top sleep barriers include worry/stress, cell phone use in bed, and bed partners.

Sleep conditions such as insomnia, snoring, and sleep apnea remain prevalent.
