The Microny II SR+ Single-Chamber Pacemaker features the AutoCapture pacing system, which provides maximum threshold adaptability and patient safety with ventricular Beat-by-Beat capture confirmation.
It also includes an automatic PIR sensitivity test, accelerometer sensor for reliable rate response, and Beat-by-Beat lead impedance monitoring.
Indications and Contraindications
The pacemaker is indicated for various patient conditions, including sick sinus syndrome, chronic second- and third-degree AV block, and recurrent Adams-Stokes syndrome.
It is contraindicated for patients who have demonstrated pacemaker syndrome, have retrograde VA conduction, or suffer from drop in arterial blood pressure with the onset of ventricular pacing.
Potential Adverse Events
Adverse events associated with the use of the pacing system include atrial embolism, bleeding/hematoma, body reaction phenomena, and cardiac tamponade perforation.
