User/Owner Responsibility
The user/owner of this equipment shall have sole responsibility and liability for any injury to persons or damage to property resulting from operation not in accordance with supplied operating instructions, maintenance not in accordance with authorized maintenance/operational instructions, and more.
Periodic checks, maintenance, and calibration of equipment are the owner’s responsibility, including replacement of components as required for safe and reliable operation.
Overview of the SmartMonitor 2
The SmartMonitor 2 is designed to function as described in the operator’s manual, with features including respiration and heart rate monitoring, alarms, and portable operation.
The monitor should be used with a Respironics Model 5000 Simulator to verify proper performance between each patient use and/or every 6 to 12 months.
