This notice informs users of potential risks with the SOMATOM go.Up and SOMATOM go.Now CT scanners, which may require patient rescans due to software issues.
Issues and Solutions
Three sporadic software issues have been identified, affecting reconstruction, image quality, and Osteo reconstruction. To avoid additional X-ray doses, users should follow specific instructions, such as rebooting the system, waiting 12 seconds after changing scan parameters, and completing Osteo reconstructions before closing the scanlrecon tab card.
Software updates VAIOA SP2 and VAZOA will address these issues, with upgrades scheduled for the second half of 2018.
