Overview
The Integrated Power Console (IPC) is a powered microdebrider, drill, and saw system designed for surgical procedures. It consists of a power control console, footswitch connection cables, and assorted handpieces.
System Description
The IPC system removes soft tissue, hard tissue, bone, and biomaterials during surgical procedures. It includes integrated irrigation pumps for irrigation of blades, burs, and motor coolant.
The system can be used with the Nerve Integrity Monitor (NIM) to stimulate and monitor nerves at the surgical site.
Important Safety Information
The IPC shall only be serviced by trained technicians at an authorized Medtronic service facility. The system contains live circuitry that can cause injury or death if the enclosure is opened or assembled incorrectly.
Insulated connectors are required for certain handpieces, and the system requires minimal maintenance and calibration.
