Introduction

The Oxford Partial Knee is a natural evolution of the original meniscal arthroplasty, offering a large area of contact throughout the entire range of movement for minimal polyethylene wear.

Components

The tibial components are made of cast cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy, available in seven sizes, designed to provide optimal bone coverage.

The meniscal bearings are direct compression molded ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for increased wear resistance.

The femoral components are made of cast cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy, available in five sizes, with a spherical and polished articulating surface.

Patient Selection

The Oxford Partial Knee is indicated for the treatment of anteromedial osteoarthritis, with well-preserved lateral compartment, intact meniscus, and full thickness of articular cartilage.

Contraindications include posterior bone loss, mediolateral subluxation, and varus deformity of more than 15 degrees.
