The FreeStyle Flash Blood Glucose Monitoring System is a meter-based system that uses the world’s smallest sample to test blood glucose levels from various body locations, including fingers, forearm, upper arm, hand, thigh, and calf.
Important Information
The system is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only and should only be used with FreeStyle Test Strips and FreeStyle Control Solution. It is not intended for the diagnosis of diabetes, testing on newborns, or testing of arterial blood.
WARNING: Keep the system away from young children as it contains small parts that may be swallowed. Blood glucose monitoring should be done with the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Testing Areas
Avoid testing on moles, veins, bones, and tendons. It is recommended to test on fingers or palm (at the base of the thumb) if testing for hypoglycemia (low blood glucose) or if you suffer from hypoglycemia unawareness.
