Introduction
The DSS-CGM is a small, body-worn glucose sensor designed to aid in monitoring interstitial glucose levels in people with diabetes.
It measures 2.6 cm by 2.6 cm and is a disposable medical device, worn for seven days, available only via prescription under the care of a licensed physician.
Device Description
The device is worn directly attached to the skin, affixed via an adhesive patch, with the primary placement site being the back of the upper arm.
The device uses a monolithic housing with no compartments and is intended to provide patients with convenient access to real-time glucose levels.
