Vitrea Advanced Visualization
The Vitrea Advanced Visualization is a medical diagnostic system that allows the processing, review, analysis, communication, and media interchange of multidimensional digital images acquired from various imaging devices.
The device complies with DICOM V3.0 and uses DICOM services for the import of ePHI, study information, and the export of DICOM data, including images and reports, to the desired locations at the facility.
Security Features
The device has several security features, including automatic logoff, audit controls, and authorization mechanisms.
The device can be configured to force reauthorization of logged-in user(s) after a predetermined length of inactivity, and the length of inactivity time before auto-logoff/session lock is user or administrator configurable.
The device creates additional audit logs or reports beyond standard operating system logs, records a user ID, and includes personally identifiable information in the audit trail.
The device authorizes or controls all API access requests and runs in a restricted access mode, or ‘kiosk mode’, by default.
Cyber Security Product Upgrades
The device contains software or firmware that requires security updates during its operational life, and the device manufacturer allows security updates from third-party manufacturers to be installed without approval from the manufacturer.
The device does not have the capability to receive remote installation of patches or software updates, but the manufacturer provides instructions for owner/operator installation of patches or software updates.
