About the Device

The Lumis series includes the Lumis 100 VPAP S, Lumis 100 VPAP ST, and Lumis 150 VPAP ST, which are bilevel positive airway pressure devices.

Indications for Use

These devices are indicated for non-invasive ventilation in patients with respiratory insufficiency or obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), weighing more than 13 kg, for home and hospital use.

Contraindications and Adverse Effects

Positive airway pressure therapy may be contraindicated in certain patients, and adverse effects may include drying of the nose, mouth, or throat, nosebleed, and skin rashes.

Device Components and Setup

The device includes a humidifier, air tubing, power supply unit, and travel bag. Setup involves plugging in the power cord, connecting the air tubing, and filling the humidifier with water up to the maximum level mark.
