Lancing Device Instructions for Use
The Lancing Device is intended for the hygienic collection of capillary blood for testing purposes from the side of a fingertip and from alternative sites, such as the forearm.
Important Safety Information: Do not use the Lancing Device on more than one patient. Improper use can increase the risk of inadvertent transmission of bloodborne pathogens. Clean and disinfect the device regularly to reduce the risk of local use site infection.
The device comes with a Depth Dial and a Trigger Button. Use the Clear End Cap for forearm testing. Wash hands thoroughly before and after handling the device. Disinfect the clean skin with an antiseptic before lancing.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Cleaning and disinfecting the Lancing Device is a two-step process. Use Super Sani-Cloth (EPA Reg. No. 9480-4) to clean and disinfect the device. Wash hands thoroughly before and after cleaning and disinfecting.
