Assembly Instructions
To assemble the Welch Allyn 3.5v Locking Collar, follow these steps:
- Swing the collar fully open and hold it so that the tab is on the top side.
- Tilt the collar downward and start the tab forward into either slot on the instrument head.
- Simultaneously, rotate the half upward until it becomes flush with the handle.
- Do not overtighten screw.
Note: The small screw will not fall out.
Tightening the Screw:
Use the Allen wrench in the orientation shown to properly tighten the screw.
