This document provides general guidance on processing Stryker Trauma & Extremities (T&E) medical devices for use, including cleaning, sterilization, inspection, and maintenance.
Important Notices
Single-use implants and instruments should not be re-sterilized, unless specified otherwise in the corresponding IFU. Avoid cross contamination of implants with soiled instruments.
Processing Instructions
The document outlines two methods of cleaning Stryker TSE’s medical devices: automated using a washer disinfector and manual. Automated cleaning is preferred whenever possible.
Staff should use suitable protective clothing and equipment at all times, and follow the instructions provided by the cleaning detergent manufacturer for correct handling and use of the product.
