Introduction

The iHealth Wireless Smart Gluco-Monitoring System (BGS) is a compact and easy-to-use device for monitoring blood glucose levels.

It is designed for single-person use and should not be shared.

Intended Use

The device is intended for quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood samples drawn from the fingertip, palm, forearm, upper arm, calf, or thigh.

It is not intended for diagnosis or screening of diabetes, or for neonatal use.

Setup Requirements

The device is designed to be used with specific iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone models.

How the Test Works

The device measures glucose levels by detecting the electrical current generated when glucose in the blood sample reacts with the reagent on a test strip.

The strength of the current depends on the amount of glucose in the blood sample.

Important Safety Instructions

Read the safety instructions carefully before using the device.

Do not use the device near liquid, heat, or in a manner not specified by the manufacturer.
