Device Description
The G7 acetabular shell features a hemispherical design for fixation and stability, with options for PPS Porous Plasma Spray Coating or OsseoTi Porous Structure. Multiple bearing options are available, including E1 Antioxidant Infused Technology, ArComXL Polyethylene, BIOLOX delta, and Dual Mobility Cobalt Chrome (CoCr).
Preoperative Templating
Accurate preoperative planning and acetabular templating are crucial for determining the size, location, and position of the acetabular shell. Templating should be performed with an A/P pelvis radiograph, considering femoral offset, radiographic leg length inequality, and referencing the contralateral hip if needed.
