Overview

This user manual provides usage procedures, precautions, and other information regarding D6T-series MEMS Thermal Sensors.

Structure and Operation

The D6T series consists of a small circuit board with a silicon lens, thermopile sensor, and logic circuit for digital temperature value conversion.

The device measures surface temperature by focusing radiant heat onto the thermopile sensor, generating electromotive force, and calculating the temperature via an interpolation calculation.

Product Features

MEMS Thermal Sensors feature low-noise temperature measurements, optimized by placing the processing circuit adjacent to the sensor chip.

The D6T-44L-06 model has 16 channels, the D6T-8L-09 has a single 8-channel array, and the D6T-1A-01/-02 models have a 1-channel sensor chip.

The sensors are designed for close-distance applications, and the measurable area (FOV) enlarges as the distance between the measured object increases.
