Canon’s environmental initiatives contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns, taking urgent action to combat climate change, and protecting and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems.
Environmental Assurance Philosophy
Canon’s approach to environmental assurance centers on maximizing resource efficiency to harmonize environmental and economic activities, with a focus on the EQCD concept (environment, quality, cost, and delivery).
Fundamental Policies for Environmental Assurance
Canon seeks to harmonize environmental and economic interests, offer products with lower environmental burden, and eliminate anti-social activities that threaten human health and the environment.
