Introduction
The Braun ThermoScan Ear Thermometer is designed for accurate and safe body temperature measurements. It is suitable for people of all ages.
How it Works
The thermometer measures the infrared heat generated by the eardrum and surrounding tissue.
Special Situations
There are certain situations where the ear thermometer should not be used, such as with newborns, people who have deformities of the face and ear canal, or those who use hearing aids or ear plugs.
Operating the Thermometer
To use the thermometer, simply pull the ear back and up, insert the probe into the ear canal, and press the activation button. The temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Care and Maintenance
The thermometer should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and alcohol. The lens filter should be replaced every 2-3 months or as needed.
Troubleshooting
If the thermometer displays an error message, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual for solutions.
