The Braun ThermoScan 7+ Ear Thermometer is designed for home use by individuals to measure body temperature. It is intended for use in patients with ages ranging from normal weight newborn to geriatric adult.

The device is equipped with an Age Precision feature, which allows for color-coded temperature readings to help interpret the measurement for the entire family. The thermometer also includes a Hygiene cap ejector and a temperature display.

To use the thermometer, remove it from the protective case, push the Power button, and select the appropriate age setting using the Age Precision button. Attach a new Hygiene cap before each measurement and fit the probe snuggly into the ear canal. Push and release the Start button to take a temperature reading.

Warnings and Precautions

Consult your physician if you notice symptoms such as fever, irritability, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, changes in appetite or activity, or seizure, even in the absence of fever.

This thermometer is not intended for clinical use in a professional environment and is only for home usage. Always keep the thermometer out of children’s reach, and do not modify the equipment without authorization from the manufacturer.
