Important Safety Notes
This thermometer is for use on the human body only, as stated in the instructions. It is not waterproof, so direct contact with water or liquids should be avoided.
Handle the device with care, avoiding mechanical impacts and direct sunlight. Check the lens before each use, and clean the measuring tip with a soft cloth and disinfectant after each use.
Battery Safety
Observe the plus and minus polarity signs when inserting batteries. Store batteries out of the reach of small children, and avoid throwing them into fire or short-circuiting them.
If a battery has leaked, clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth while wearing protective gloves. Use identical or equivalent battery types only, and replace all batteries at the same time.
