Introduction
This guide is designed to help you set up and troubleshoot the Alice NightOne device for your home sleep study.
The Alice NightOne records physiological information while you sleep, and its purpose is to evaluate your breathing during sleep.
Components and Setup
The device consists of:
Airflow sensor measures breathing throughout the night, with prongs inserted into the nostrils.
SpO2 sensor measures oxygen levels in the blood and pulse rate, attached to the non-dominant hand.
Respiratory effort (chest) belt senses chest movement during breathing and inserts into the Alice NightOne device.
The Good Study Indicator shows the recording time, signal quality, and any problem sensors.
Smart Guide Patient Setup
Follow the steps to set up the device:
Step 1: Connect the effort (chest) belt.
Step 2: Connect the cannula.
Step 3: Connect the SpO2 sensor.
Step 4: Check the Good Study Indicator.
