Roché Diabetes Care is conducting a voluntary recall of previous-design versions of Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump adapters and tubings due to a potential issue of insulin leakage.
The affected products have LOT numbers lower than 1354241, 1355360, and 1354242. Users are advised to check their supplies and discontinue using affected adapters and tubings immediately.
Actions to be Taken
Users should acknowledge this communication, check their adapter and tubing supplies, and obtain free replacements by visiting the Roche Diabetes Care website or contacting the Customer Careline.
It is also important to follow the updated handling instructions in the pump user manual when changing pre-filled glass insulin cartridges.
