Overview
The YS12S16 DC-DC converter is a point-of-load converter that delivers up to 16 A of output current in a surface-mount package. It operates from a 9.6-14 VDC input and provides an extremely tight regulated programmable output voltage of 0.7525 V to 5.5 V.

The converter offers high efficiency, extended input range, and a small size and low profile. It also features a synchronous buck converter topology, start-up into pre-biased output, no minimum load required, and programmable output voltage via an external resistor.

The converter is designed for stable operation with or without external capacitance, and low ESR ceramic capacitors are recommended for improved transient performance and lower output voltage ripple.
