Overview
The X28HC64 is a 64K, 8K x 8 bit EEPROM fabricated with Intersil’s proprietary, high performance, floating gate CMOS technology.
Features
It features a 5V single supply, byte alterable, and has a JEDEC approved byte-wide pin out. It is Pb-free plus anneal available, making it RoHS compliant.
Reliability
The device has a high reliability with an endurance of 1 million cycles and a data retention of 100 years.
Write Operation
The X28HC64 supports a 64-byte page write operation, allowing for fast write cycle times. It also features DATA Polling and Toggle Bit Polling for early end of write detection.
Software Data Protection
The device includes a user-optional software data protection mode that enhances Intersil’s hardware write protect capability.
