Description
The MLA Series is a family of transient voltage surge suppression devices designed to suppress various transient events, including those specified in IEC 61000-4-2 and other industry standards.
Features
These devices are manufactured from semiconducting ceramics and are supplied in a leadless, surface mount package. They are RoHS compliant and have a wide operating voltage and energy range, making them suitable for numerous applications.
Applications
The MLA Series is used for suppression of inductive switching or other transient events, ESD protection, and on-board transient voltage protection for ICs and transistors. They help achieve electromagnetic compliance of end products and can replace larger surface mount TVS Zeners in many applications.
The devices are rated for surge current and energy, have inherent bi-directional clamping, and are available in standard low capacitance types.
