Overview

The UC284xB and UC384xB family of control ICs are high-performance current mode PWM controllers designed for off-line or DC-to-DC fixed frequency current mode control schemes.

Key Features

These controllers feature a trimmed oscillator for precise frequency control, automatic feed-forward compensation, latching PWM for cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and an internally trimmed reference with undervoltage lockout.

The output stage is a high-current totem pole design, suitable for driving N-Channel MOSFETs, with low off-state voltage.

Differences between family members include under-voltage lockout thresholds and maximum duty cycle ranges.
