Product Overview
The SOLDERSLEEVE SHIELD TERMINATOR is designed to provide an environment-protected shield termination on cables, rated for 125°C minimum, with tin or silver plated copper shields.
Materials
The product consists of a heat-shrinkable insulation sleeve, a solder preform with flux, and meltable rings made of thermally stabilized thermoplastic.
Application
The product should be installed using Tyco Electronics approved convection or infrared tools, in accordance with the assembly procedure RCPS-100-70. Assemblies will meet the requirements of Tyco Electronics specification RT-1404 and National Aerospace Standard NAS-1747, with a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C.
For best results, prepare the cable as shown.
