Resistor Numbering System
This datasheet describes the numbering system for thick and thin film resistors. The system includes codes for material, termination type, tolerance, size, and resistor value.
Size Codes
Thin film sizes range from 20×20 to 375×250 mils, while thick film sizes range from 30×20 to 650×650 mils. Each size has a corresponding code.
Tolerance and Termination
Tolerance codes range from 0.25 to 20, and termination types include gold, palladium, platinum, and solder wraparound.
Material and Resistor Value
Material codes include alumina, beryllia, silicon, glass, and quartz substrates. Resistor values are coded using a combination of letters and numbers, with different formats for values under 10 ohms, 10-99.9 ohms, and 100 ohms to 100 megohms.
