Overview
The R112.553.000 Series SMC is a bulkhead jack receptacle with a solder pot contact, designed for use in coaxial transmission lines.
Components and Materials
The receptacle’s body and center contact are made of brass, with a gold over nickel plating. The outer contact and other parts are also made of brass with a gold over nickel plating. The insulator is made of PTFE.
Electrical Characteristics
The receptacle has an impedance of 50 ohms, operating frequency of 0-10 GHz, and a voltage rating of 1000 Veff. It also features a hermetic seal and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 Veff.
Mechanical Characteristics
The center contact retention has an axial force of 10 N, and the mating end axial force is also 10 N. The recommended torque for the mating panel nut is 60 N.cm, and the receptacle has a mating life of 500 cycles.
