Overview of KEMET T110 Series and T212 Axial Capacitors

The KEMET T110 Series are axial, hermetically sealed tantalum capacitors designed for use in high humidity environments and are ideal for miniaturized circuitry. They are typically utilized in coupling, bypass, filtering, and RC timing circuits. These capacitors offer excellent stability and perform with low DC leakage, dissipation factor, and ESR/impedance across a broad temperature and frequency range.

The T110 Series capacitors are available in standard EIA capacitance values ranging from 0.0047 pF to 330 pF, with tolerances of +20%, +10%, and +5%. They support working voltages from 6 VDC to 125 VDC and are crafted to have low equivalent series resistance (ESR) limits. For higher CV (capacitance/voltage) values in similar case sizes, KEMET offers the T410 Series.

These capacitors are available with various failure rate options, including Graded B, C, D, and Exponential M, P, R, and S, concerning military applications only*. They conform to EIA Specification RS-296 for taping and reeling and the marking is per MIL-STD-1285. The T110 Series capacitors are qualified to MIL-PRF-39003 and can operate across a temperature range from -55ºC to +125ºC. Capacitor case sizes available span A, B, C, and D.
