KEMET’s XZR dielectric features a 125’C maximum operating temperature and is considered temperature stable. These capacitors are suited for bypass and decoupling applications or for frequency discriminating circuits where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are not critical.

Benefits

The XZR dielectric exhibits a predictable change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage, boasting a minimal change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to +15% from -55°C to +125°C.

These capacitors offer a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, are lead (Pb)-free, RoHS, and REACH compliant, and come in various case sizes with DC voltage ratings ranging from 6.3 V to 250 V.

They are available with capacitance offerings from 10 pF to 47 pF, with tolerances of +5%, +10%, and +20%. The devices are non-polar, minimizing installation concerns, and have a 100% pure matte tin-plated termination finish allowing for excellent solderability.
