Overview
KEMET’s X7R dielectric features a 125°C maximum operating temperature and is considered “temperature stable”.
These capacitors are suited for bypass and decoupling applications or for frequency discriminating circuits where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are not critical.
Benefits
Typical applications include decoupling, bypass, filtering, and transient voltage suppression.
Key features include AEC-Q200 automotive qualification, Pb-Free and RoHS compliance, temperature stable dielectric, and a range of case sizes and capacitance offerings.
Electrical Parameters/Characteristics
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, with a capacitance change of ±15% from -55°C to +125°C.
The dielectric withstanding voltage is 250% of the rated voltage, and the dissipation factor (DF) has maximum limits depending on the case size and capacitance.
