Overview

The Sta-Kon splice connectors are designed for creating wire splices by laying wires side by side within the connector. These are available in several types – overlap type splices, nylon insulated splices, high-tech splices, non-insulated splices, and Tefzel® insulated butt splices. Each variant offers a simple installation process and requires a single crimp to complete the connection.

Overlap Type Splices

Model and Specifications:
– 2A20: 22-20 wire range
– 2B-16: 18-16 wire range
– 2C-12: 14-12 wire range
These overlap type splices are known for their installation simplicity and compact size.

Nylon Insulated Splices

Available in sizes for wire ranges of 22-20, 18-16, and 14-12, nylon insulated splices are UL Listed under file E9809, attesting to their safety and reliability. Made for parallel wire splicing, specified installing tools are WT2OOO and WT112m.

High-Tech Splice-Overlap Type

Offered for wire ranges of 18-16 with weights provided for 1000 unit quantities. These utilize contemporary technologies for improved performance.

Non-Insulated Splices

The range for the non-insulated splices includes multiple categories, from 22-20 wire range through to 4-2. These splices are selective about UL listing, with some models not UL listed. Installation tools vary by splice type, from WTItOM, WT2OOO, and WT112M for types B and C, to WT115A and TBM6 TBMB5 for types D, E, F, and G.

Tefzel® Insulated Butt Splice

These splices come in wire ranges of 22-18, 16-14, and 12-10, and feature weights per 1000 units alongside their dimensions. The installing tool recommended for Tefzel® insulated butt splices is WT-145C. Tefzel® is a registered trademark of DuPont, indicating the use of high-quality insulation material.
