The PxxxOSD series are SIDACtor thyristors designed to protect equipment from overvoltage transients in hostile environments.
Key Features
These thyristors provide a 200A 10/1000 rated surge current capability, low voltage overshoot, and low on-state voltage.
Applications
They are designed to meet enhanced surge requirements specified in regulatory and customer standards, including IEC 61000-4-5 level 3.
Benefits
The PxxxOSD series does not degrade surge capability after multiple surge events within limits and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings.
