Aries collet sockets are available in single or dual rows and can be cut to the desired number of pins. They are side-to-side and end-to-end stackable.
Construction
The body material is black UL 94V-0 Nylon 4/6, and the pin body is Brass Alloy 360 1/2 hard. The pin body plating is available in Gold, Tin/Lead, or Tin, and the contact plating is available in Tin/Lead, Tin, or Gold.
Electrical and Mechanical Characteristics
The contact current rating is 3 Amps, and the operating temperature range is -67°F to 221°F (-55°C to 105°C) for Tin and -67°F to 257°F (-55°C to 125°C) for Gold. The insertion force is 180 grams/pin, and the withdrawal force is 90 grams/pin.
Mounting Considerations
The suggested PCB hole size is .045″ ± .002″ (1.14 ± 0.05 mm) diameter. The series is suitable for 2-level and 3-level wire wrap applications.
